Leadership in Business
The vision you have for your business is tremendously important. It’s what gives you the vision for the future and what drives your day-to-day actions. Vision is critical, but it is one component of a larger force that will determine the impact of your business – leadership.
Most people around you can teach you something about leadership (for better, or for worse!) as long as you keep your eyes open. If you truly watch the people you interact with on a daily basis, you’ll see examples of strong leadership around you. The next time you go to get a cup of coffee, look at the interaction of the baristas behind the counter. The conversation of managing depleted inventory in front of customers requires quick decisions and clear leadership. If you watch long enough you’ll see a leader emerge - or - the negative effects of a leadership void. Take the perspective of looking for leadership examples around you as you go through your life, take note of what works (and what doesn’t), and see how you can apply that to your life and business!
Supplement your real-world examples with information from experts! We love the following resources, but these are a small sample of resources that can help you improve your leadership regardless of the stage your business is in.
